Jaywick Local History Society

Meetings

We hold meetings every other month which are open to the local community and anyone interested in Jaywick and it’s history. You can expect friendly, social gatherings and the chance to meet people living in and around the village of Jaywick, and you’ll be warmly welcomed by our members who all have an avid interest in the history of the local area.

We often hold talks on specific subjects by expert speakers and local historians sharing fascinating information on the history and local community. So, if you would like to know more about the history of Jaywick and the surrounding areas, please do come along to our next meeting. See our Events page for details of forthcoming events. We look forward to seeing you.

Meetings are held at Golf Green Hall in Golf Green Road, Jaywick (unless otherwise stated). Entry is Free for members, £2 admission fee for Non-members, and usually run from 6pm – 8pm (see Events for details)
